Heading to Lake Mead for some Jet-Skiing

I like to have a little bit of fun out at Lake Mead on my jet-ski, and I always like to have a list of things that I need for the trip handy on my iPhone. Here’s the items I bring when I jet-ski at Lake Mead in Nevada.

Clothing

  • Sandals
  • Life Jacket
  • Towels
  • Sunglasses (bring a sunglasses string to make sure you don’t lose them while you ride).
  • Hat
  • Extra Pair of Shorts
  • Swimming Suit

Licences & Registration

  • Driver’s License
  • Lake Mead Registration (one for your vehicle, another for your jet-ski)

Food

  • Protein Bars
  • Sandwiches
  • Drinking Water

To Do

  • Pick up your jet-ski (or rent one)
  • Fill up your gas tank

Other

  • Sunscreen
  • Cellular Phone
  • Cash & Credit Card
  • Spare Tire for Trailer
  • Air Compressor in case of flat
  • Extra Spark Plugs

Renting a Jet-Ski at the Lake Mead Marina

If you own a jet-ski, don’t forget to pick that up as well. Otherwise, make your way to the Lake Mead Marina and rent one by the hour. Also, you’ll want to purchase registration for your jet-ski from the booth as you enter the recreation area.
